About The Hologram Girl

The Hologram Girl makes true reflection holograms from objects found along the Oregon coast. Agates, sand dollars, barnacles, and driftwood become dimensional images recorded on fresh film—not printed imitations or aging vintage stock.

The object comes first

A hologram begins with a physical subject. Gathering locally makes every piece specific to this shoreline and impossible to reproduce from a photograph or screenshot.

Why jewelry

Holograms reveal themselves through directional light and movement. A pendant provides a dark backing for contrast, travels easily into daylight, and shifts constantly as it is worn. That motion reveals the parallax and depth that make the medium remarkable.

Small editions, made by hand

Each single-color reflection hologram is made by hand, set as a pendant, and released in a small signed edition. Fresh film means clean surfaces and clear images without the bleaching, bumps, and micro-scratches common in decades-old stock.
